Referral Partner Network Terms
Last updated: October 20, 2026
These terms apply to Referral Partners of Their Story Lives, LLC ("TSL"). Referral Partners are trusted community professionals who introduce families to TSL. They are not affiliates and not Certified Story Advisors, and they are governed by these terms, not the Advisor Partnership Agreement.
Quick Summary: Referral Partners earn 15% on every qualified purchase made by a family they refer. A Certified Story Advisor handles the family from start to finish.
1. Who Can Be a Referral Partner
Referral Partners include, for example:
- Funeral homes and funeral directors
- Florists and flower shops
- Churches, ministers and ministries
- Hospice providers
- Home care and caregiver agencies
- Senior living and assisted living communities
- Probate and estate planning attorneys
- Financial planners
- Final expense and life insurance professionals
- Grief counselors and support groups
- Community organizations
2. Connected to a Certified Story Advisor
Every Referral Partner is connected to a TSL Certified Story Advisor who serves the families they refer. Partners are approved by Headquarters and receive a permanent Referral Partner ID.
3. What You Do
You simply introduce families using your referral link, code, QR card, or certificate. You do not sell, collect payment, or provide the service. There is no enrollment fee and no certification requirement.
4. Your 15% Referral Commission
- You earn 15% of the amount the referred family pays, after any certificate credits.
- Your rate is always 15%, no matter which Advisor serves the family.
- The $15 Family Vault certificate activation fee pays no commission.
- Referral Partners do not earn team overrides or bonuses.
5. When It Is Earned and Final
Commission is earned once the referred family's purchase is complete and the refund period has passed. From that point the commission is final: you have no further responsibility for the job and no refund or recourse applies to your payment. Paydays are the 15th and 30th of each month.
6. Conduct
- Refer families with care and honesty; never pressure grieving families.
- Use only TSL approved materials and wording.
- Respect family privacy. You will not see families' private content.
7. Taxes and Independence
You are independent and responsible for your own taxes. TSL issues tax forms where required. Either party may end participation with written notice; earned commissions are still paid.
8. Governing Law
Arizona law governs, with venue in Maricopa County, Arizona.
